StrikePoint Resumes Trading After Northumberland Deal
The October 8 restart puts StrikePoint's postclosing working capital near C$90 million. The final issued share count is the holder's next test.

StrikePoint Gold said in its October 8, 2026 release that trading in its shares had resumed after the purchase of the Northumberland gold project in Nevada. It reported approximately C$90 million in working capital after closing and related costs. The October 6 closing release records US$70 million paid upfront, with two further US$25 million payments conditional on a feasibility study and specified commercial production milestones. For you, the restart turns a financed purchase into a stock that can trade again, while the later payments remain conditional.
The September 9 financing announcement says a StrikePoint subsidiary sold 95 million subscription receipts at C$2 each, raising C$190 million gross. The company assigned the proceeds to the purchase, Northumberland exploration and development, and general corporate use. Gross proceeds are not the sum available for drilling: underwriting costs, the purchase price and closing expenses sit between the receipt sale and the October 8 working capital figure. We would use that approximately C$90 million as management's postclosing working capital report, not as cash to add to the gross raise.
If you held SKP before the raise, how much of Northumberland does each share now represent? In its September 29 update, StrikePoint projected about 7.24 million shares after a ten for one consolidation and about 102.2 million after the receipts converted. The October 6 release says the financing's escrow release conditions were satisfied; the October 8 release says reopened trading reflects the consolidation. The consolidation changes the number of units, while issuing shares to receipt buyers changes the proportion existing owners hold. The September figures were estimates made before closing, so we would use them as scale until a postclosing capitalization table confirms the issued count. We would wait for the confirmed issued count before using any per share resource number.
StrikePoint's October 8 release also says three investors together hold more than 40% of the company. Their decisions can carry weight in future votes and financings, but that ownership figure does not give us a measured free float. The same release says StrikePoint has yet to drill at Northumberland and expects to begin within a month. Its resource estimate lists no mineral reserves, so new technical work still has to establish a mine plan. Existing drill permits may need transfer or replacement, so the funded program still has an operational step to clear. We can credit the financing for putting the company in position to test its resource without treating the resource as a mine already built.
By November 8, we will look for the promised drilling start and a final issued share count; the next financial filing can test the reported working capital.
